托吡酯治疗癫痫50例

Topiramate for Treating Epilepsy in 50 Cases

目的观察托吡酯治疗癫痫的疗效。方法选取癫痫患者50例,给予托吡酯治疗,并在用药前及用药6月后评价疗效、进行生活质量调查,生活质量调查采用癫痫患者生活质量评定量表-31(QOLIE-31)。结果与用药前比较,癫痫患者应用托吡酯6月后总有效率为81.82%,完全控制率为47.73%,不良反应轻。QOLIE-31量表的生活质量总得分、担心发作、生活满意度、药物影响,随访期得分均高于基线期,具有显著性差异(P<0.05)。结论托吡酯能控制癫痫发作且不良反应轻微,可以提高癫痫患者的生活质量。

Objective To observe the clinical efficiency of topiramate（TPM） for treating epilepsy.Methods Fifty patients with epilepsy were selected in the study and given TPM by mono-therapy.The efficacy and the quality of life（QOL） were evaluated before treatment and after 6-month treatment.QOLIE-31 was used to evaluate QOL of the patients.The adverse reactions were recorded at the same time.Results Comparing before treatment with after treatment,the effective rate was 81.82%and the complete control rate was 47.73%.The adverse reactions were mild.The QOL scores and the scores in worrying about seizure attack,satisfactory of life,drug influence and follow-up period all were higher than those in the base line period with statistical difference.Conclusion Topiramate can improve QOL of the patients with epilepsy by controlling seizure attack and lowering the adverse reactions of medication.
