李根源西使滇西根本动因分析

Analysis of the Fundamental Cause of Li Genyuan's Going to Western Yunnan

云南重九光复后,出人意料的是发生了腾越、大理两地革命军队的冲突,这让正致力于稳定社会秩序的省军政府骤感压力,乃遣李根源西巡迤西,解决该冲突。学界公认的原因是李根源为腾冲人,又是同盟会云南支部的领导人,腾永的革命者等多为其旧部,故以李前往尤为适宜。但笔者认为这仅是表面的原因,事实上,滇军政府内部的纷争才是李西巡迤西的根本动因。

After recovery of Yunnan in Spt.9, it has happened one thing that the revolutionary armed forces of Tengchong and Dali conflicted with each other. The thing was so unexpected that made the provincial military government suddenly feel the strange pressure. And then the provincial government decided to dispatch Li Genyuan to resolve the conflict. Why the candidate was Li and not others？ Scholars considered prevalently that Li Genyuan was born in Tengchong, and he was the leader of Yunnan branch of the United League. He has leaded the revolutionary armed forces of Tengchong. On based of the reasons, Li was the best person selected. However, author of the article believes that it is only the surface reasons, and the real and fundamental cause is the internal dispute of the Yunnan armed forces.
