城市空间功能的提升与拓展──南京东路步行街改造背景研究

Improving and Widening the Functions of Urban Space-Background research of the reconstruction of East Naming Road

素有中华第一街美称的上海市南京东路享誉海内外，由于建成年久，各项物质要素均已陈旧，与今日社会经济文化发展的需求相去甚远，亟需改造，随着规划目标的定位与周边地区的综合整治逐步完成，为南京东路西藏路到河南中路段的城市设计与实践提供了基础条件与保障，本文就步行街的规划设计背景、目标与实施作一阐述，以供各地参考与指正。

Shanghai East Naming Road, so called 'First Street'' in China, is well known in China and the abroad. For its facilities are too obsolete to meet the need of social, economic and culture development. After confirming the planning objective and rehabilitation of the surrounding areas, the reconstruction of the section of Naming Road from Xizang Road to Henan Road is actualized. This article discusses the design objective and the implementation process of the pedestrian street.
