摘要 从分析传统纸质地质图的特点入手,分别阐述计算机数字制图及地理信息系统(GIS:GeographicalInformationSystem)对传统地质图制图所起的变革作用。 The geologic map is important data source and main type of result In mineral resources assessment. For a long time, geologists hope to combine the geologic map with the literal geology data in same region and then analyze them in depth so as to find inherent metallogenic rules and apply them to mineral resources assessment. The techniques of the digital map-making and the geographic information system (GIS) are powerful tools for geologists to solve the questions. This paper analyze the features of traditional paper geologic map first, then make a statement of the innovation that is brought about by using digital map-making and GIS in traditional geologic map-making.
