目前,我国有8296万残疾人,其中农村残疾人6225万,比重高达75.04%。农村残疾人是一个特殊的弱势群体,他们组织起来成立形式多样的农村残疾人合作社,是我国政治发展、经济增长、文化建设、社会和谐的需要,也是社会稳定发展的因素之一。
