Historicism and the Contemporary Construction of Chinese Economics

经济学具有历史性和民族性。马克思历史唯物主义学说的创立,把历史主义推进到一个崭新的阶段,并对中国的经济学发展产生了重要影响。世纪之交,中国经济发展的巨大成就和中国道路的形成,呼唤中国特色、中国气派、中国风格的中国经济学的产生。这就要求我们坚持马克思主义的历史主义,坚持逻辑与历史一致的方法,将马克思主义经济学基本原理与中国特色社会主义市场经济的具体实践相结合,一方面借鉴西方经济学研究方法,避免其"非历史主义"倾向,为中国经济学的当代建构提供现代工具;另一方面挖掘中国独特的传统历史资源,包括经济史和经济思想史资源,为中国式道路的形成、演化和发展提供历史唯物主义阐释,从而形成真正的中国经济学。

Economics has both historic and national characters. ＂lhe creanon oi lvaarx historic materialism pushes historicism to a new stage and has an important effect on the development of Chinese economics. At the turn of the century, the great success of the economic development and the formation of the China road called for the Chinese eco- nomics which stands for Chinese characteristics. We need to integrate Marxism econom- ics basic principles into the practice of the market economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics, in accordance with the persistence of Marxism history view and the uni- fication of logic and history, which means, on one hand we should learn from the west- ern economic research methodology and refrain from the non-historical tendency to pro- vide the modern tools for the contemporary construction of Chinese economies, and on the other hand, it＇s also important to unearth Chinese unique historical resource which includes the history of both economy and economic thoughts, so that we can explain the formation and development of China road in the angle of historic materialism, thus de- veloping the real Chinese economics.
