改革开放30年中,傅璇琮先生有序书文章近80篇。先生以当代古典文学研究之巨子的高度,凭着扶勉同仁、奖掖新秀的热心,本着对作者、对学术负责的精神,为学界已经形成较大影响的一批学者的学术专著作序。先生瞩目现实,见解精辟,发论宏旨,借序而论学,从整个的学术思想、观念、范式、视野、方法等方面,揭示出具有的开拓、创新意义的大势与走向,推动与引导了整个学术研究的发展与进步。我们于其中,既可见到百花齐放的治学方法,看到古代文学研究的学术转型与大势走向的历程,为拓展学术研究思路提供启迪,也可看到先生学识和人品之高境,感受到先生在学界的领袖风范与人梯品格。

In the past 30 years, Mr. Fu Xuancong wrote about 80 prefaces for others＇ books. In these prefaces for the monographic books of influential scholars, Mr. Fu, a master of ancient classics, expresses his generous support and help to his colleagues and young scholars and at the same time, he expresses his penetrating opinions about various topics of academic thoughts, conception, perspectives and methodology in the studies of classical literature. His prefaces reveal not only the tendency of the studies of classical literature but also his generous and noble personality.
