摘要
模拟联合国活动,让学生扮演外交官的角色,依据联合国的运作方式和议事原则,围绕国际上的热点问题召开会议。本文从中国大学生模拟联合国的发展概况入手,阐释了英语专业实践教学与模拟联合国活动的结合情况,力求使读者了解模拟联合国活动有利于学生综合能力的提高,是一项值得在实践教学中推广的活动。
Model United Nations (MUN) let students play the role of diplomat and hold meetings to discuss the intemational hot issues on the working principles of UN. Starting from the development of Chinese university MUN, it is illustrated the combination of the English majors' practice teaching and MUN and tries to make readers understand MUN is beneficial for the improvement of students' comprehensive ability. In a word, MUN is a worthwhile activity to promote in practice teaching.
