The technical development of single shaft paddle feed conditioner at home and abroad is in- troduced. The product quality of this conditioners made by the famous international companies are in the top grade. The trends of the new type conditioner are using frequency changing driving systems, the safe interlock units for the repairing doors, 4-5 mm of clearance between the tip of paddle and the inner surface of the trough, large diameter of conditioning chamber and large paddle width. The quality of single shaft paddle conditioners made by the Chinese large scale manufacturers are good,but the quality of conditioners made by some small producers are inferior. The national quality standard for these products are necessary.
