随着计算机及因特网的发展和普及,E-Learning(Electronic Learning)受到了世界各地的语言教师和教育研究者的注意和重视。E-Learning是指主要通过因特网进行的学习与教学活动,它充分利用现代信息技术所提供的、具有全新沟通机制与丰富资源的学习环境,实现一种全新的学习方式。本文主要研究E-Learning在加拿大ESL教学中的运用情况,为我国的外语教学提供借鉴。

Language teachers and educational researchers from around the world pay more and more attention to E-Learning（Electronic Learning）with the development of computer network especially the Internet techniques.E-Learning is mainly about teaching and learning through the internet.It makes the most of the communication mechanism and rich resources of the learning environment through modern information technology.It＇s a brand new learning style.This paper mainly researches E-learning in the ESL teaching and learning in Canada and its implication in China.
