With the frequency of intercultural communication among countries,high-level access between leaders is becoming more and more.In recent years many leaders from different countries visited China and published political speech.The essay takes Cameron＇s lecture at Peking University for an example,tries to analyze interpersonal functions in political oration with mood,modality and person.It aims to reveal an appropriate way to realize effective interaction between the orator and audience and to guide the readers to appreciate and write political speech better.
