摘要 以结构力学课程为试点,在土木工程专业的部分班级实施双语教学的尝试和探索,研究适合省属高校校情的力学课程双语教学模式和方法。结合双语教学实践,对力学课程双语教学的现状与特点、双语教材的优选、双语的比例、双语师资配备、双语教学方法和手段、双语学习效果等几个关键问题进行探讨和分析。旨在通过双语教学加深学生对专业知识的认知和学习,使学生具备运用双语而不单是母语来学习专业知识的能力,适应高等教育要培养具有国际竞争力的复合型人才的要求。 Bilingual teaching practices of structural mechanics are performed in some civil engineering classes in order to pursue the effective bilingual education methods for provincial level university. Some important fac- tors that effect the bilingual education such as the characteristics of mechanical courses, the textbook,the bilin- gual ratio, the demand for teachers, and the teaching methods are discussed and analyzed. Bilingual education aims to enhance the students learning of professional knowledge, to equip students with the ability of using bi- linguals not just the mother tongue to learn professional knowledge, and to meet the requirements that higher education should cultivate internationally competitive comt)lex talent.
