The Application of Situational Teaching Approach to the Course of Western Economics

摘要 "西方经济学"是一门具有应用性、现代性和通俗性的财经专业基础课。在教学过程中,基于情境教学法的内涵,创设生活之情境,培养学生的探究能力;创设问题之情境,提升学生的思考能力;创设实践之情境,锻炼学生的应变能力;创设表演之情境,增强学生的沟通协调和创新能力。同时应注意,情境教学要因材施教;教学活动运用情境要适度;督促教师参加继续教育和培训以提高综合素质;改革现有西方经济学课时安排,增加实践技能的考核比重。 Western Economics is a major foundation course of studying finance and economy involving application, modernity and popularity. In the teaching process, the situation of life is created to develop the inquiring ability of the students and the situation of questions is aroused to develop their thinking ability on the connotation of situational teaching approach. Besides, the situation of practice is for the ability of resilience and the situation of performance is for strengthening the communication and innovation ability. Meanwhile, attention should be paid to: situational teaching means to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, to temper in using the teaching activities, to intensify the teachers" continued education and post training for the improvement of their comprehensive quality and to reform the existing course periods by increasing the practical proportion.
