This paper introduces the content and characteristics of the case teaching,states the importance of the case teaching in personnel training,according to the characteristics of Physical Geography,it describes the necessity to use case teaching,discusses the concept and principles which the Physical Geography case teaching should follow,and studies the design of the physical geography case teaching,and then it puts forward the general pattern of the Physical Geography case teaching design.
