The New Study on the Culture Viewpoint of Marx and Engels

马克思、恩格斯的文化观是唯物史观的重要内容,它不是文化史观。一方面,由于现实的经济基础对文化起决定作用,因此文化批判从属于现实的实践批判;另一方面,文化对现实的经济基础具有巨大的能动作用,因而文化建设对于整个社会主义建设具有重要意义。从理论的终极关怀意义上看,马克思、恩格斯的文化观与人学密不可分,其根本落脚点都是全人类的彻底解放。

The culture viewpoint of Marx and Engels is the important content of the historical materialism, and it is not belong to the culture-historical viewpoint. On the one part, the culture critique is belonging to practice critique because the economic base determines the culture. On the other part, culture can also affect the economic base. So culture construction has important significance for the whole socialism construction. In the view of ultimate concern, the culture viewpoint of Marx and Engels has a close association with person＇s theory. They are both to seek the whole humanity emancipation.
