摘要
以二甲苯与浓硫酸为原料制备二甲苯磺酸固化剂,探讨了带水剂对合成反应的影响,并考察了添加无机酸和无机盐对固化剂固化性能的作用。试验结果表明,使用甲苯带水剂后,反应更彻底,游离酸含量降至8%,硫含量降低了20%30%。添加无机酸、无机盐等材料部分取代磺酸,可提高二甲苯磺酸的固化效果,型砂的抗拉强度高于1.8MPa。
Dimethyl benzene sulfonic acid curing agent was prepared from xylene and strong sulfuric acid. The effect of water-carrying agent on the synthesis and the influence of inorganic acids and inorganic salts on the curing performance of moulding sand were investigated. The results show that toluene could carry most water produced during the synthesis and make synthesis react thoroughly. The prepared dimethyl benzene sulfonic acid curing agent has lower sulfur content of 7%. The partial substitution of sulfonic acid with inorganic acids and inorganic salts improved the curing performance of moulding sand; as a result, the tensile strength of the sand mold was over 1.8 MPa.
