摘要 为了实现EPON系统和iW Fi技术的网络融合,提出了一种基于ARM9 S3C2440的融合型光网络单元的设计方案。详细介绍了这种融合型光网络单元的硬件结构及其关键的功能模块、软件设计及其主要功能,并且分别在无线接入和光信号传输方面测试了融合型光网络单元的性能。性能测试结果表明:融合型光网络单元在无线信号连通性和光信号的上行传输性能方面都能满足实际应用的需求。 In order to converge the EPON system and WiFi technique,a novel scheme was proposed to design a converged optical network unit (ONU) based on ARM9 $3C2440. The hardware structure and its function modules were demonstrated in detail, so were the software design and its main functions. Besides, the perfor- mances of the devised converged ONU were tested under the circumstance of wireless access and optical signal transmission respectively. Performance testing results showed that both the connectivity of the wireless signals and the uplink transmission of the optical signals met the requirement of practical application for the devised converged ONU.
