Community Informatics is a new research field that based on practice and case study, and has a set of mingled methods of re- search and fieldwork, which include community analysis, participatory research, community memory recording, etc. These methods are useful for understanding local context, mobilizing community resource, so as to envision ICTs project plan, encourage cultural diversity, and pro- mote social inclusion.
