Efficient deblocking filter algorithm based on characteristics of blocks

摘要 在深入分析去块滤波算法的基础上,针对其滤波器比较复杂,实现成本较高,提出一种基于块特性的高效去块滤波算法。该算法以8×8块为单位将图像分为平坦区域、纹理区域及边缘区域3类,平坦区域进行两个方向的滤波,纹理区域进行单方向的滤波,边缘区域不进行滤波。对于帧内模式的滤波强度判决,整个宏块边界点上的像素值一致,帧间模式则基于8×8块进行滤波强度值的判决。实验结果表明,在信噪比减少可以忽略不计的情况下,降低了运算复杂度,同时大大提高了编码速度。 With analyzing the deblocking filter algorithm, and for its high computing complexity and cost, an efficient deblocking filter algorithm based on the characteristics of blocks is proposed. The images taking units of 8 ×8 block divide into flat area of the two directions filtering, texture area one-way filtering and the edge area not filtering. For the edge strength of Intra modes, the whole pixel of macroblock boundary values correspond. Otherwise, BS value are computed based on 8 × 8 block. Experimental results show that: in the case of the losses of PSNR can be negligible, the proposed algorithm can not only reduce the computational complexity, but also improved the speed of the encoding process.
