论《四库全书总目》对唐宋《诗》学之批评——兼谈唐、宋《诗》学的承与变

About the Criticism of Catalogue of Imperial Collection of Four on the Studies of Book of Songs in Tang and Song Dynasties——The Inheritance and Evolution of the Studies of Book of Songs in Tang and Song Dynasties

《四库全书总目》对唐宋《诗》学著作和主要治《诗》者的评价大体能实事求是,常有精到之见。但囿于对门户壁垒的批判,致使其对《诗经》宋学的意义和价值重视不够,尤其是对宋人从文学角度研究《诗》的意义和价值重视不够;其对唐宋《诗》学之批评,未能彰显唐代《诗》学对宋代《诗》学大势的影响,宋代《诗》学是在继承唐代《诗》学中实现创新的。

Catalogue of Imperial Collection of Four made proper evaluations to the works and researchers on Book of Songs studies in Tang and Song Dynasties, and here and there showed some objective and precise points of view. However, focusing too much on the criticism of school barriers, Catalogue of Imperial Collection of Four failed to attach enough importance to the meaning and value, esp. in literature respect, of Book of Songs studies in Song dynasty, who achieved its innovation by succeeding to the studies in Tang dynasty. Thus, the criticism of Catalogue of Imperial Collection of Four on the studies of Book of Songs in Tang and Song Dynasties did not re- vealed the strong influences by the former dynasty to the latter.
