中国是筷箸的发源地,箸作为华夏民族文化特征之一,历代文献都有记述,从历代文献探索中国箸文化的起源与发展,既能进一步了解箸文化丰富的内容,也有助于加深人们对箸文化的认识。同时,越南、日本、朝鲜、韩国等国的用箸习俗都是从中国传入,中国是世界上用箸进餐最早的国家和民族,然而人们往往只是把他视为一种进食的工具,没有把这小小的筷子看作是中国文化与科技的又一大发明,以及它中国文化乃至世界文化的重要影响,本文对这些问题都作了深入的探讨。

China is the birthplace of chopsticks. As the cultural symbol of the nation, chopsticks have been mencontent of chopsticks and the ＂Zhu＂ culture. As China is the first country to use chopsticks, the custom and habits of using chopsticks in Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Vietnam and other countries originated from China. Nowadays, people just regard chopsticks as the eating utensils. They neglect the fact that chopsticks are a great invention besides the Four Inventions of ancient China and have significantly influenced Chinese culture and world culture. This paper discusses these above mentioned issues comprehensively.
