In the Tang dynasty,the wolf was frequently written in the poem as one of special portraits.By means of the influence of many poets and their poems,the wolf image was marked with qualities of the merciless,greedy and heartless,and the basic core of the image becomes stable.The wolf figure in the Tang poetry presents deep influences on later literates,permeating all aspects of awareness.Investigating its reason,the special connotation of the wolf portrait has its internal reasons.
