模因理论在高职院校公示语汉英翻译教学中的应用 被引量:1

摘要 公示语英译是为来华的外国友人提供帮助,其准确性和功能性不容忽视。然而目前我国随处可见的公示语英译错误为我国高职院校的翻译教学提出了一个严峻课题。在对英语公示语的类型和功能进行充分分析的前提下,运用模因理论,提出了三种翻译策略:直接引入目的语模因、化用目的语模因、复制源语模因。 The translation of public signs is of great help to the foreign friends who come to China and so the accuracy and functionality cannot be ignored.At present,the wrong English versions of public signs everywhere in China form a great challenge for the translation teaching in higher vocational colleges.In this paper,the types and functions of English public signs are fully analyzed.Based on mimetic,and then this paper puts forward three translation strategies: quoting the memes of the target language directly,simulating the memes of the target language,copying the memes of the source language.
