The Impact of China's Government-led Urbanization on the Expansion of Consumption Demand

扩大内需是转变经济发展方式的关键措施之一,城镇化对扩大内需具有积极的促进作用。在我国,政府主导的城镇化发展模式对于扩大居民的消费需求有积极的促进作用,但也存在着许多不利于消费增长的负面影响。文章主要分析了政府主导的城镇化模式对居民消费需求的负面影响,找出了由于政府的主导作用而造成的不协调的城镇化发展模式中制约居民消费需求扩大的主要因素并提出对策建议。

Expanding domestic consumption demand is one of the key measures to change the way of the economic development. The researches show that the urbanization has a positive role in promoting domestic demand. Though the government-led development model of urbanization has a positive role in expanding consumer demand of the residents in China, there are also many negative effects on consumption growth. This paper tries to analyze the negative impact of government-led development model of urbanization on consumer demand, and find out the main factors restricting the expansion of consumer demand in the process of urbanization which caused by the role of the government-led and proposes countermeasures.
