摘要
尽管大学英语课程从EGP定位转向ESP方向的呼吁高涨,但后大学公共英语时代依旧陷入ESP课程方向性迷失的困境:2007版《大学英语课程教学要求》的缺陷、学者对ESP课程体系建构的异议、多元且权威的评价标准缺失、ESP师资和教材的匮乏等导致大学英语课程从EGP转向ESP迟滞不前。因此,尽早对ESP体系建构形成可操作性统一认识,重新修订《大学英语课程教学要求》,制定多元且权威的评价标准,加大ESP师资培训和教材编写的力度,构建以ESP为主的大学英语刻不容缓。
While the advocation of ESP from EGP has become a trend, the direction of post College English curriculum has been in a lost situation: the flaws of the Teaching Requirements of College English Curriculumldisagreements among ESP experts and scholarsllack of polynary and authorative assessment standards, and the shortages of ESP teachers and materialsllead college English curriculum to an delima of transition from EGP to ESP. It is urgent to reconstruct an operational and general ESP system, revise the Teaching Requirements of College English Curriculum, work out an authorative and diversified assessment standard, promote the training of ESP instructors and writing of textbooks, and construct an ESP-orientated college English teaching.
