模因论是基于达尔文进化论的观点解释文化进化规律的一种新理论，它的提出给大学外语写作教学带来了诸多启发。从分析模因论的语言复制和传播理论出发，指出大学英语写作是模仿与创新的和谐统一。在教学中，教师可以采取强化学生英语写作模因输入、重视创造性模仿写作能力培养和增强务实性写作训练等对策来改善大学英语写作创新教学不足的现状，提高教学成效。

The theory of meme, based on Darwin＇s Evolutionism, is a new theory for explaining the rule of culture evolution. Its advent has brought a lot of enlightenments to the teaching of college English writing, starting with the analysis of the language imitation and spread theory of meme, the paper points out that college English writing is a harmonious unification of imitation and innovation. In teaching, teachers can adopt the strategies strengthening students＂ writing meme input, enhancing the cultivation of creative imitation writing and increasing practical writing training etc to increase innovative teaching of college English writing thus improving the teaching effect.
