A Study of the Economic Development of Resource-Exhausted Cities of China:within the Horizon of the Sustainable Development

资源枯竭型城市是依托专门开发利用不可再生资源而发展起来的,由于不可再生资源在总量既定的情况下将不可避免地导致资源开发不断减少直至殆尽,因此,如何解决资源枯竭型城市经济的可持续发展是当前出现的紧迫问题。

Generally, the development of the resource-exhausted cities is based on exploring the non-renewable resources. Considering the total amount of the non-renewable resources is fixed, the tapping of it will result in its decrease, even to the exhaustion. Therefore, it is imperative that we should study how to deal with the sustainable development of the resource-exhausted cities.
