As the great poet comparable with the Walt Whitman in the history of American poetry, Dickinson was reputed for her poems with rich, exotic imagination, and a variety of artistic expressive forms. Starting with nature, emotion and religion involved in Dickinson＇ s poetic imagery, the paper explores Dickinson＇ s thinking traits in writing poems and the very sensitive and discerning poet＇ s inner world.
