秦皇岛市河北大街中、西段各交叉口交通信号相位的改进设计

Improvement on the Design of the Traffic Signal Phase at the Intersections in the Middle and Western Sections of Hebei Avenue,Qinhuangdao

基于秦皇岛市河北大街中、西段各交叉路口现状的调查,指出其部分路口存在交通安全系数低、时间延误大、驾驶员在行驶过程中遭遇"连续红灯"的现象较严重等问题。重点对河北大街中、西段各交叉口现有信号相位进行了改进设计,以期平衡交通安全与时间延误之间的矛盾,实现"绿波交通"。

Based on the investigation of the current state of each intersection in the Middle and Western Sec- tions of Hebei Avenue in Qinhuangdao, this paper points out a series of serious traffic problems at some inter- sections, such as low traffic safety coefficiency,long time delay and successive red lights that often annoy driv- ers. Thus, this paper is focused on the improvement on the design of the traffic signal phase at the intersections in the Middle and Western Sections of Hebei Avenue in order to achieve a better b＇,dance between the traffic safety and the time delay,and to pave the way for the ＂green-wave＂ traffic.
