摘要
词汇触发是Hoey提出的关于词汇使用的最新语言理论,它主要揭示了词的搭配关系及模式,语义关联和语类特征等常见的使用模式中的互动行为。从大量不同语篇类型的语料可以发现词汇使用的触发模式,而词汇触发理论又能解释语篇组织是如何受词汇触发影响和创造的。文章将在阐释Hoey词汇触发理论的核心内容基础上,探究该理论对语篇重要特点的贡献,进一步探讨其对大学英语词汇教学的启示。
Lexcial priming is a new linguistic theory proposed by Hoey, which reveals a lexical item's interactive behavior in its usage, including its collocational pattern, semantic associations and genre -specific feature, etc. A lexical item's priming pattern can be found from large corpora of different text types, whereas lexcial priming can be used to exlain how text organization is influenced and created by it. Based on an illustration of lexical priming and its key concepts, this thesis attempts to explore how lexcial priming contributes to key textual features, and further discuss its implication on College English vocabulary teaching.
