Lodging is an important restrictive factor for the yield improvement of maize. It is an urgent problem that how to prevent lodging through cultivation techniques. The objective was to provide cultivation techniques and theo- retical basis for anti-lodging cultivation through varieties selection, tillage measures, spacing form and density, the balance of water and fertilizer, chemical regulation and pest control.
