摘要
张庚先生是当代中国精通古今、学贯中西的戏剧理论家。从1931年参加左翼剧联的活动起,注定了先生革命的一生,为党的戏剧事业奋斗的一生。张庚先生曾有过多种社会角色,但无论何种角色,他始终致力于对中国戏剧的关注和研究。他倡导理论与实践相结合的学风,并结合实践中出现的问题,对中国戏剧艺术做了有见地的理论指导。20世纪80年代以来,他结合戏剧艺术实践,在戏曲史论、戏曲批评、戏曲美学理论等方面多有建树,特别是对戏曲现代戏和戏曲的现代化问题,做了积极的理论探索和总结,这是张庚先生在新时期对中国戏曲理论的最大贡献之一。继承与创新必须遵从戏曲的创作规律,戏曲现代化仍然是传统戏曲在新时代的发展和继续。张庚先生还以文化自觉的精神,用马克思主义科学的世界观和方法论对21世纪戏剧艺术的发展做了理论性的指导,这就是在探索中不断追寻的"民族化"与"现代化"的命题。
The late Mr. Zhang Geng was a contemporary, knowledgeable and insightful theatre theorist. He had participated into a lot of social activities, however, what he paid much attention to remained to he Chinese theatre. He advocated that scholars should study theatre combining practice and theory. Since 1980s, he had contributed a lot in theory history, theatre criticism and theatre aesthetics ; especially he actively explored modern theatre and modernization of theatre. Inheriting and innovating are both necessary. Therefore, modernization of theatre is an advancement of traditional theatre. He also guided scholars to study theatre art in 21st century with Marxism.
