“层”论——当代城市建筑语言

"Layer" Theory: Architectural Language of Contemporary City

在建筑密集的城市环境中,被多重层状界面划分所构成的室内、外空间已经逐渐成为人们感知城市的基本印象。笔者通过剖析当代城市中典型建筑的设计方法,提出广泛存在于建筑形式中的"层"的概念,明确"层"是当代建筑的基本词汇,"编辑"则是对于"层"的理性处理的方法。进而将"层"的概念扩展到城市,认为城市空间是"层组"的多维集合,以此建立认识建筑的新的思维框架。建筑的个性化创作尽管存在着不同的途径,但可以归纳为对形成围合的"层组"进行独特的秩序表达,并通过"编辑"的方法形成建筑空间形态的过程。

The modern dense urban environent have come to be perceived as being the space, both interior and exterior, which are divided by multi-layered interfaces. The author analyzes the typical design strategier in constructing contemporary cities, proposes ＂layer＂ concept, which is embodied popularly in various modern architectural forms, defines ＂layer＂ as the fundamental term in architecture, and ＂editing＂ as the rational approach to using ＂layers＂. Furthermore, applying the layer concept to urban space, we will see urban space as the multi-dimensional combination of layers, by which we will have a new framework for viewing architecture as a whole. Even though there are various ways to individualized creation in architecture , yet they can be summarized as a unique orderly expression of enclosed layers, and formation of architectural space morphology by means of ＂editing＂.
