2011年是世界极不寻常的一年，一些重大动向正在对世界形势的发展起着格外重要的影响。美国经济乏力、债务沉重，可能长时间陷于困境，美元“一统天下”的局面一旦被打破，必将冲击美国的世界霸权：欧盟在全球金融危机及由此引发的欧洲主权债务危机的打击下，欧洲一体化进程面临停滞；新兴经济体国内生产总值与发达国家相比，差距正在缩小．必将对国际秩序形成挑战，引发国际大变动；美国企图利用“阿拉伯之春”谋求扩大和巩固在中东的战略利益，结果导致中东乱局难有穷期；中国经济实力增强，政治影响力提高．同时也面临各方面的挑战和压力不断增加。

The year of 2011 was an extraordinary one and some important events were unfolding in a direction that made extremely major impacts on the development of international situation.The U.S would possibly be enmeshed in gridlock with poor economic performances and heavy debts for some time to come.When the days the U.S.dollar held sway was over,the U.S.global hegemony would be in face of heavy onslaughts.The European Union has been subjected to the attacks by global financial crisis and subsequent sovereign debt crisis,and its integration process came to a stand still.The gap of GDPs between the newly-emerging economies and the developed countries was narrowing,presenting a challenge to the existing international order and causing dramatic changes to the world.The U.S.was trying to bid for expansion and consolidation of its strategic interests in the Middle East by taking advantage of the 'Arab Spring',thus making confusion in the region go on and on.China was building up its economic strength and its political influence extending,but at the same time it has to meet with growing challenges and pressures from all sides.
