摘要
在异构无线网络上支持多媒体应用是一个普遍和具有挑战的问题。对异构网络下不同用户传输不同的多媒体应用提出了一种分布式动态信道选择算法。不同于以前的研究很少考虑多媒体用户的应用层需求,算法考虑了不同多媒体用户有不同的传输速率需求、不同的效用函数和不同的时延阀值等。为了有效地分布式管理可用信道资源,通过对优先级虚拟队列进行优先级队列分析去计算期望效用函数,并考虑传输环境、流量特性以及占用相同信道竞争用户的信道选择策略。仿真了异构网络上多用户传输场景并展示转接用户的信道选择策略和效用函数的稳定性。
It is a common and challenging issue to support multimedia applications over heterogeneous wireless network.A distributed dynamic channel selection solution for diversified wireless users transmitting heterogeneous multimedia applications over heterogeneous wireless networks is proposed.Unlike prior methods that seldom consider the requirements of the application users,this solution explicitly considers various rate requirements,utility functions and delay deadlines of diversified multimedia users.To manage available channel resources in a decentralized manner efficiently,a priority virtual queue is used to evaluate the expected utility function using priority queuing analysis that considers the wireless environment,traffic characteristics,and the competing users' behaviors in the same frequency channel.The simulateion of multiple video users over the heterogeneous networks and channel selection strategies are given,and the stability of utility of transfer connect users is shown.
