摘要
为减少自动测试设备的报废,必须对其进行有效的软硬件升级。但由于自动测试设备本身的复杂性及高昂的软件开发验证费用,以往进行设备升级是比较困难的。虚拟化技术通过在一台控制器上并行运行多个操作系统,为解决上述问题提供了新的途径。首先介绍虚拟化技术概况,并提出4种基于虚拟化技术的设备升级方式:更换控制器、增加商用现货硬件、增加新的测试程序集及增加实时测试功能,然后简述虚拟化的缺点及代价,最后给出相应的结论。
In order to reduce obsolescence of Automatic Test Equipment(ATE),it is necessary to make effective upgrades for its software and hardware.However,in the past it is hard to upgrade an ATE for its complexity and high cost on software development and verification.By running two or more operating systems in parallel on a single controller,virtualization technology provides a new way to solve the problem.In this paper,an review of virtualization and four upgrade modes of ATE based on virtualization are proposed,which are replacing controller,adding commercial off-the-shelf(COTS) hardware,adding new test program sets(TPS) and real-time test function.Then the negative aspects and expense of virtualization are given,and a corresponding conclusion is proposed.
