摘要
本文旨在分析"天青石雕"一诗所反映出的对中国文化的吸收,以及其中涉及的诗学理念。从叶芝的诗歌、诗论以及传记、书信入手,依据读画诗学相关理论,论述叶芝在与中国文化的接触中,如何将中国古典诗词、山水画以及其中所蕴含的中国传统美学思想,特别是道家美学融入诗歌创作。这一研究不仅为以语言艺术描述视觉艺术提供了一个可行的范例,并且有助于读者了解叶芝与中国文化之间的深层关系,从而为解读叶芝的诗歌开辟新的路径。
This paper aims to examine the absorbing of Chinese culture in Yeats's poem "Lapis Lazuli," as well as the poetical ideas shown in this process.Based on the related theories of Ekphrasis and the scattering evidences in Yeats's poems,essays,autobiographies and letters,the paper intends to articulate how Yeats melts the essence of traditional Chinese aesthetics in Chinese classical poetry and landscape paintings,particularly Taoism,into "Lapis Lazuli." The study provides an applicable example of describing visual arts via verbal arts,and helps to find out a new way to read Yeats's poems.
