摘要 Mongolian cairns are sacred sites for sacrificial rites, and places where women are strictly forbidden. Sacrificial rites at Mongolian cairns are never done randomly; they are held on precisely fixed dates each year. It is believed that the rains ofthe year will be good when the rite is performed.
