Main Tasks in the Construction of Core Socialist Value System in Colleges and Universities

高校是培养中国特色社会主义事业优秀建设者和可靠接班人的重要基地,是传承和发展社会主义先进文化、构建社会主义和谐社会的重要领域。当前,在推动社会主义文化大发展大繁荣的背景下,高校要充分发挥自身优势,努力把推进社会主义核心价值体系建设贯穿到学校党建与思政、教学科研、校园文化建设等各项事业中,切实承担起宣传、研究、践行社会主义核心价值体系的历史重任。

Colleges and universities are not only the important base for cultivating outstanding builders and reliable successors of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics,but also the important field for the inheritance and development of advanced socialist culture and the construction of harmonious socialist society.At present,while pushing forward the development and prosperity of socialist culture,colleges and universities should display their advantages and run through the core socialist value system in the construction of the Chinese Communist Party,in the ideological and political construction,in teaching and scientific research and in the construction of campus culture,and therefore assumes the historical tasks of popularizing,studying and practicing the core socialist value system.
