Some Examples of Error Correcting of Shuowen Quotations in Tang Rhyme of Jiang Zang

蒋藏本《唐韵》成书于唐代,其所引《说文》比二徐本更加接近许书原貌,对《说文》校勘具有重要的价值。然《唐韵》流传年代久远,其所引《说文》亦存在残损和缺脱,需要加以校订和整理。《唐韵》所引《说文》讹误之例有字形讹误、字词缺脱、文字误衍等。

Tang Rhyme of Jiang was compiled in the Tang dynasty and its quotation of Shuowen is closer to the original by Xushu than the versions of Xuxuan and Xukai, which is of great importance to the collation of Shuowen. However, Tang Rhyme has an age-old spreading history, and the quotation of Shuowen in it is incomplete and has errors, hence needing correction. The errors include miswriting of characters, incompleteness of phrases, misunderstanding of text, and so on.
