摘要
语言创新的动因有多种,结构-边界移动导致新颖表达式产生是语言创新的重要方式。在语言识解中为语言结构建立边界是人们认识语言结构关系进而达成理解的必要过程。语言表达式组织和识解过程必然涉及结构-边界的移动。符合人类认知规律的合理结构-边界移动可以产生词的多义性和新颖句法表达式,或使实意词向功能词转化。合理的边界移动不是随意的,而是人类认知规律在语言表达中的体现,是语言发展的重要动因之一。
Structure-boundary move, which can lead to novel linguistic expressions, is one of the ＂important ways among many for linguistic innovation. To establish boundaries for linguistic structures in language construal is a necessary process for communicators in recognizing the relation between linguistic structures and thus to understand linguistic expressions. The process of organizing and construing linguistic expressions necessarily involves structure-boundary move. Reasonable movements, which accord with human cognitive laws, will lead to polysemy of words and novel expressions or cause content words to convert into functional words. A reasonable structure-boundary move is not a random choice, but a linguistic symbolization of cognitive laws, and is therefore an important motivation of linguistic development.
