The railway station is the important region for demonstrating the urban image as the urban gateway area.it is also the important attention profitable target for urban design.This article unifies the case of urban design for railway station district in Rudong,to discuss the gateway area and the urban interaction development,the earlier period synthesis localization,the plan strategy formulation,the gateway area image mold,the station square scale criterion research,the commercial synthesis integration development,the transportation streamline organization and so on.In order to provide the enlightenment for the urban design of the similar areas.
