中国农村老年人居住安排影响因素的实证分析被引量：42

An Empirical Study on Elderly Living Arrangements and Its Factors in Rural China

摘要本文使用"中国健康与养老追踪调查(CHARLS)"数据考察了影响农村老年人居住安排和居住意愿的因素。分析发现,健康状况越差、日常生活能力(ADL)越差和配偶去世的农村老年人越可能与子女一起居住;他们主观意愿上更想与子女一起居住,显示这些老年人对家庭养老有更高的需求;经济收入高低和是否有养老金对农村老年人居住安排和居住意愿没有显著影响。这说明,老年人与子女居住在一起主要是可以得到子女的贴身照料或情感慰藉,而不是获得经济上的支持。农村养老保险覆盖范围的扩大和对老年人经济上的赡养支持并不能替代他们在生活照料和情感上的养老需求。 Living arrangement has great impact to the welfare of the elderly.This paper uses data from 'China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Survey(CHARLS)' to investigate the factors influencing living arrangement in rural China.Our empirical results show that,the elderly who are widowed or in poorer health conditions or have low level of ADL are more likely to live with their children,and they are more willing to live with their children subjectively,indicating that they have more demand for family supporting.At the same time,the elderly who are wealthier or have pensions are not more likely to live with their children.These findings suggest that,the elderly live with their children not to obtain economic support but to direct care or feeling comfort.The popularizing of 'new rural pension program' and more economic support cannot substitute the demand of direct care and feeling support of the elderly.
