Distinctive Features and Phonological Category in Chineese Loanword Phonology

借词音系学是最近二十年音系学领域的一个重要分支。本文以英语塞音的借入为例,探讨不同音系位置区别性特征和音系范畴在词汇借入过程中的作用和表现,对不同的借入方式做出描写和解释,以探求借用背后的机制,并考察借词音系各模式在汉语借词研究中的适用性。

The past decade has been characterized by a great interest among phonologists in the issue of how words are borrowed. Taking stops as an example,this article analyses the function and performance of distinctive features and phonological category in the adaptation of loanwords,which tries to seek its mechanism and figure out the applicability of different views in loanword literature.
