本文指出高等教育质量下滑的主要原因是大学一年级学生没有认识到基础课的重要性。所以，本文就“为什么要学大学物理”这个问题做了几个方面的论述：物理学是整个自然科学的基础；社会的发展是伴随着物理学的发展而发展起来的，没有物理，就没有今天现代化；学习物理学是培养创新思维能力的最佳途径，是其他学科无法比拟的；学好物理，我们将终身受益。同时就怎样学好“大学物理”，指出了学习的方法。

This paper points out that the decline of higher education quality is mainly due to first-year university students do not realize the importance of basic courscs. Therefore, this article on ＂Why study Physics,＂ this issue has done a few aspects of the discussion： Physics is the natural science foundation; social development is accompanied by the development of physics, without physical, there is on today＇s modernization; learning physics is the best way to develop innovative thinking, is unmatched by other disciplines; Learning physics will be useful for our lifetime.
