宋代武举考试分武艺和程文,程文考试是宋武举与唐武举的最大区别。宋武举程文分为《七书》大义和时务策论两种,策论要誊录、封弥;评定成绩时以策论为主,评选标准除参照文举的犯讳、错字外,更重视程文形式和是否"忠"。武举录取原则"策论定去留,弓马定高下",体现了科举背后的中央集权思想力量在加强。
