With the rapid development of information technology, university library is entering the digital age. Based on the competence analysis of librarian in the age of digital library, the contents, approaches of further education of librarian are discussed. The self-consciousness, long-term of further education of librarian is encouraged. At the same time, the leader＇s attention is advocated to ensure the implementation of further education of librarian actually, and to realize the function of teaching and literature information for scientific research.
