《元史·百官志》录事司设司候正误

A Correction in Yuanshi-baiguanzhi:There Is No Si-hou in Lushi-si

《元史·百官志》认为元代录事司在中统二年到至元二十年曾设司候一职,这一记载有误。金代的录事司与司候司为不同等级城市的行政管理机构,互不统属,蒙古建国之初,承袭金制,司候不应设于录事司之下;此外,至元三年定官员职田数和至元八年规定录事司捕盗事皆不见有司候一职,故知《元史·百官志》录事司下设司候一职为误。

Yuanshi-baiguanzhi（《元史·百官志》） thought that there was Si-hou（司候） in Lushi-si（录事司） of Yuan Dynasty from Zhong-tong（中统） 2 to Zhi-yuan（至元） 20,but this record is wrong.Lushi-si and Sihou-si（司候司） of Jin Dynasty were administrative institutions belonging to different scale cities,and the system of Jin Dynasty was used in Yuan Dynasty at the beginning.On the side,there was no Si-hou when Yuan Dynasty enacted the field number of the official in Zhi-yuan 3 and made the rule about how to pursue the thieves in Lushi-si in Zhi-yuan 8.In brief,there is no Si-hou in Sihou-si of Yuan Dynasty.
