摘要
从面子理论和礼貌原则的角度来分析研究公众人物公开道歉话语和策略,目的在于揭示公众人物是如何创造性地使用道歉话语来实现保存面子、和谐社会人际关系以及过失责任最小化的目的。
Based on the Face Theory and Politeness Principles, this paper discusses the pragmatic strategies and effect of public figures' apologies through analyzing some examples, aiming to examine how public figures realize creative forms of apologetic speech so as to preserve their own face, restore social relations and minimize their responsibility for misdeeds.
