现代台湾政要对“一个中国”的认同

Modern Taiwan Dignitaries' approval of the "one China"

推进海峡两岸的和平统一,是21世纪中国的一项战略任务,也是全体中国人的共同期盼。我们通过严肃的研究、冷静的思考,可以发现,现代台湾政要的主流意识是:海峡两岸本来就是一个中国;台湾问题是内战造成的;坚决反对"台独"、"两个中国"的谬论;探寻和平统一的路径。他们对于"一个中国"的认同,是十分明确的、可贵的。这正是实现祖国和平统一的基石。海峡两岸的问题,既然是内战造成的,那么,就应当由两岸中国人自主解决,相信两岸人民也有智慧能够解决。

Promoting cross-strait peaceful reunification is a strategic task for China in the 21st century.Through the serious study and speculation,we can find that the mainstream thoughts of the modern Taiwan dignitaries are the following： firstly,both the mainland and Taiwan across the strait originally belong to one China;secondly,the Taiwan Question is caused by the civil war;thirdly,such fallacies as ＂Taiwan independence＂ or ＂two Chinas＂ should be opposed firmly;fourthly,both sides should seek to explore a path of peaceful reunification.Their approval on the ＂one China＂ identity is very clear and valuable,which is the foundation of peaceful reunification.Since the Taiwan Question is caused by the civil war,it should be solved by the people on both sides who definitely have enough wisdom to fulfill it.
